::Project Of The Orphanage::

The projects are built according to the urgencies and of the constraints of life of the orphanage, namely:

Cuts of electricity of more than 3 hours consecutive per day (until 6:00)
System of insufficient water heating to wash the children
Insufficient water during the hot period
3 days need to wash the 53 children
3 toilets for 53 Children
Extension of the principal building to remake (“temporary” construction sensitive to the bad weather and the winds)
A ground of dwelling which is an old rice plantation (dusty ground in summer and mud during the rain season) without drainage
Important climatic variations
A district of Kathmandu where safety is necessary
The age growing of the children
To as far as possible offer conditions of studies and life allowing the children to open out and become an actor in their country.

What induces our projects by set of priorities?

New building the medical ones and repair of the water pipes
Solar panels, balloon of warm water for the problems of showers
Together of photoelectric solar panels, wind mill and battery to answer the problems of lack of electricity
Well to 300 m of depth allowing to obtain healthy water and in sufficient quantity
Construction of a new building allowing to have a dining room, classroom, centre multi media, and new rooms to increase the number of children and to ensure a quality of life allowing them a better success in their school future
Maintenance (painting, sealing) of the principal building
Drainage and paving of the ground to avoid the problems related to the clay ground (old rice plantation)

And in the long term (3 years)

- Increase height of the wall of safety of the orphanage
- Purchase of a market-gardening ground to cultivate vegetables necessary to the orphanage.
- Funds to support the kids in their university studies

:: Management Of The Project ::

The whole of the humane projects suggested in the following chapter was the subject of a study based on the market prices Nepalese and reactualized in date of October 2007.

If a project is adopted, this one will be the object:

Of a new study at end to obtain a detailed estimate which will be subjected to validation with the interested people
With an approval enters the various contractors and persons in charge of the project
With a regular follow-up of the project until its final realization

In order to ensure a transparency in the communication, the whole of the projects will be available on the site of Children of Sagarmatha http://www.sassnepal.org.np. It will be attached, with each project, Status: in Research, in progress, finalized its Date of emission, the Partners of the project as well as the Percentage of assumption of responsibility of the project by each organization.

At the time of the phase of realization, photographs will be placed at the disposal on Internet site in order to follow the evolution of the projects.

A financial file will be made up comprising the unit of the supporting documents of the draft agreement with the detailed estimate emitted at the time of phase 1. A summary of this one made up and will be placed at the disposal of the people concerned on request with the organizations in load of the management and the realization of the project.
