:: About Sagarmatha Asahaya Sewa Sangh ::

Sagarmatha Asahaya Sewa Sangh was established on October 2002.In the present situation, where Nepalese women and children are deprived of the basic needs, because of social, economical, educational and family reasons; as a responsible and informed citizens of the country, it is expedient to establish an association like "Sagarmatha Destitute Services Organization”. We are making an effort with the help of good citizens of Nepal as well as foreign social service organizations to achieve the noble objective, i.e. to make these destitute women and children spend a respectful and human life in their own soil and help them be a capable citizen to serve the country someday. We help the women and children who are rejected by their own family and are compelled to live a painful life and the aged who do not have nearer relatives.

:: Objectives Of Sagarmatha Asahaya Sewa Sangh ::

  1. To make provision, on behalf of the Organization, to the maximum extent possible, of the basic things such as food, cloth, accommodation and proper education and treatment for the poor, destitute, orphan and children rejected from the family on the basis of equality without discrimination on grounds of ideology, religion, color, language etc, and make necessary initiation for making proper arrangement in accordance with the education policies and rules of His Majesty's Government.

  2. To rescue the women who have become victim because of being helpless, family violence, and thus become compelled to remain helpless in and outside the country and become socially backward, and make necessary initiation to rehabilitate them in the society by making them self-reliant by providing them with necessary skill oriented trainings.

  3. To make initiation to establish and operate, or cause to be established and operated, schools under the prevailing law in order to provide the destitute children with required education.

  4. To make Provision of food and shelter to the senior citizens who have no families or who, despite their families, have been rejected form the families, and the Organization may operate, r cause to be operated, clinic and dispensary services for medical treatment of such citizen as well as destitute children and women.

  5. The Organization may also carry out such other acts for social service as are not prohibited by the prevailing law.

  6. To carry out such other acts as are required for the fulfillment of the above-mentioned objectives.
