In September last year, I decided two things: first, I was so incredibly amazed and overwhelmed by the two weeks I spent with you, that I felt I needed to thank you for all the things you had shown me and all the amazing times we had spent together. Second, I realized that at our school we use so many books! Which then just sit at home when we are done with them, and other books are bought and the cycle starts over. I thought this was a great waste and decided something should be done about it. It was not easy and I came across all sorts of issues, but I was determined to make my project successful. So I tried my best to collect all the books I could, from students and parents, and sell them for much cheaper to other students who needed them. The money collected was then sent to you, for your school year which is soon going to start!
So this is my small thank you for everything you did for me, and I wish you all the best of luck in school… even though I know you are all going to do as fantastically as last year!
